Manchester United’s disappointing run of form in the Premier League continued on Sunday evening.

The Red Devils suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London.

Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante were the goalscorers for the Blues.

Sunday evening’s match at Stamford Bridge was massive, and among those who were watching was West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford.

The 17-year-old, who can play as central defender or as a defensive midfielder, posted the following message on Twitter during the game:

Oxford is part of the West Ham first-team squad at the moment, but the talented teenager has been linked with a move away from the Hammers.

According to a report in The Sun earlier this month, United are interested in signing the promising youngster.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the 17-year-old is becoming increasingly frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities at the Hammers.

Interestingly, West Ham’s next opponent are Chelsea, as the two Premier League sides will face each other at the London Stadium in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.
