Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte might be feeling a little foolish at the moment.

Spurs welcomed Southampton to North London this evening in what turned out to be a cracker.

The Saints recorded a stunning 3-2 victory, with two late goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Che Adams flipping the contest on its head.

Son Heung-min had fired Tottenham into a 2-1 lead with 20 minutes to go.

And it’s safe to say that the Italian manager probably regretted his celebrations.

Conte put his finger index finger to his lips in a ‘shushing’ gesture.

It remains to be seen who or what the gesture was directed at, but the Lilywhites boss probably wound up regretting it.

That’s because 10 minutes leader, Elyounoussi headed the Saints to parity and then almost immediately, Adams fired home what seemed like the winner.

Here is how Conte celebrated Son’s goal:

There looked to be a sting in the tail when Steven Bergwijn found the net in the dying minutes of the contest.

However, Bergwijn’s potential equaliser was swiftly ruled out for offside.
