Rob Holding’s reaction to Bernd Leno’s error for Arsenal last night pretty much summed it all up.
Leno somehow diverted Richarlison’s low cross into his own net on 76 minutes at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal suffered a 1-0 defeat by Everton.
And one photo directly afterwards showed the Gunners centre-back with a hand over his head in disbelief at what he had seen from his German team-mate.

Dani Ceballos’s reaction to the defeat at full time was arguably more damning for Arsenal and their performance.
The Spain international, on loan in North London from Real Madrid, looked to be hiding directly after the final whistle by pulling his shirt over his head.

Truthfully, there is nowhere to hide for Arsenal.
Despite missing a few big-name players like Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Martin Odegaard, the North Londoners were simply nowhere near good enough yet again.
Mikel Arteta’s side may well end the weekend 11th in the Premier League table if Leeds and Aston Villa both win which, with six matches left, is plainly unacceptable for a club who joined a European Super League.
