Tottenham Hotspur ended their 2016-17 Premier League campaign with a 7-1 hammering of Hull City away from home.

The star of the show for Tottenham against relegated Hull at the KCOM Stadium was Harry Kane. The England international striker scored a stunning hat-trick to win the Golden Boot.

The 23-year-old ended the Premier League season with 29 goals – four more than Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and five more more than Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

Kane could have hit the 30-goal mark had he played the entire 90 minutes against Hull; the Englishman was substituted in the 79th minute.

Given the way Tottenham were playing and Hull were defending, the 23-year-old could have scored one or two more goals.

However, Kane did not seem to be too disappointed when he was substituted. Instead of creating a fuss, the striker was all smiles with manager Mauricio Pochettino and appeared to be in good spirits.
