Rangers beat St Mirren in front of Graeme Souness on Saturday.

Rangers picked up another win on Saturday afternoon as they beat St Mirren at Ibrox, and they did it all in front of Gers hero Graeme Souness.
The Gers had beaten Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup in midweek, and were back to league action on Saturday as they looked to keep the pressure on Celtic.
They did just that with a bizarre win, as they were handed four penalties in a 4-0 win over St Mirren, though one of those was missed.
James Tavernier scored the first, missed the second, scored the third and then graciously passed on the fourth to Jermain Defoe, for him to score his first Ibrox goal.
Ryan Kent rounded off the win with a fourth goal, temporarily cutting the gap at the top to three points before Celtic beat St Johnstone on Sunday.
Rangers won’t have played many games like that before, and Rangers hero Souness was sat in the stands watching the game unfold before heading back to cover Leicester v Manchester United and Manchester City v Arsenal for Sky Sports on Sunday.

A favourite as a player-manager at Ibrox, Souness has never hidden his Rangers allegiance, and he threw his support behind Steven Gerrard and co this weekend.
Rangers posted a photo on their official Twitter account of Souness in the stands for Saturday’s game, with fans no doubt loving to see him back at Ibrox again this weekend
