Celtic go into the final two games of their Champions League group still with an outside chance of progressing.
Celtic kept their slim hopes of progressing to the knockout phase of the Champions League alive as a late penalty saw them secure a share of the points against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The first game between the two had seen the Hoops well beaten in front of their own fans, and Brendan Rodgers knew going into the rematch that a defeat in Germany would all but end their chances of extending their European adventure beyond the group-stage.
And despite being underdogs for the clash with the Bundesliga side, it was Celtic that came closest to opening the scoring in the first half hour as Scott Sinclair’s sumptuous effort hit the post.
However, many Hoops supporters would have been forgiven for fearing the worst when Lars Stindl – who also broke the deadlock two weeks ago – opened the scoring with a volley in the first-half.
Gladbach nearly added a second through their other goalscorer in Glasgow, Andre Hahn, but his effort hit the bar.
And the home side were made to pay for not doubling their lead when Moussa Dembele was brought down by Julian Korb inside the penalty area with 15 minutes to go.
The defender was dismissed and the Frenchman converted the spot-kick to ensure that the points were shared. The draw leaves them two points adrift of their opponents with two games to go, so while progression in the Champions League may be beyond them, they still have a good chance of securing a place in the Europa League.
With that in mind, here is a look at some of the defining images from a potentially important night in Germany.
