It’s been a difficult week for Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

First, the Brazilian centre-back was part of the defence that somehow lost to Burnley at the Emirates Stadium last Sunday.

And three days later, Gabriel, a £27 million signing from Lille, got sent off as Arsenal drew 1-1 with Southampton in North London.

As a result, he is ineligible for tomorrow’s visit to Everton in the Premier League through suspension, which means he won’t get to show off his new hair-do until after Christmas.

The 22-year-old defender was spotted training at London Colney on Friday, sporting a new hairstyle.

Here’s some images of Arsenal’s latest training session:

Arsenal are 15th in the Premier League table and defeat at Goodison Park could spell bad news for Mikel Arteta.

The draw with Southampton spared his blushes in a big way, given that the hosts had 10 men for half of the second period.

But their problems are no less serious and losing to Carlo Ancelotti’s side will pile more pressure on him.
