Leeds United have completed the signing of Middlesbrough’s Adam Forshaw.

Leeds United have this evening confirmed the signing of Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Forshaw on a four-and-a-half year deal.
The Whites had already tied up January deals for Aapo Halme, Yosuke Ideguchi and Laurens De Bock, with Victor Orta and co working hard to bring in new signings.
Now, Orta has struck again, this time raiding former club Middlesbrough to bring in midfield reinforcements in the shape of Adam Forshaw.
Forshaw, 26, came up through the ranks with Everton, spending 12 years at Goodison Park before joining Brentford in 2012, where he hit 11 goals in 100 games.
A poor spell with Wigan Athletic followed, but he impressed with Middlesbrough following his 2015 move to the Riverside Stadium, playing a key role in the Boro midfield.
With 34 Premier League appearances last season, Forshaw was vital under Aitor Karanka, but hasn’t enjoyed quite as much success this term under Garry Monk and now Tony Pulis, and has moved on to Leeds.
Leeds tonight confirmed the deal, posting a photo of Forshaw posing with a Leeds shirt for the first time, showing that he has taken the number four shirt at Elland Road.
Middlesbrough also announced the move on Twitter, claiming that the fee involved is £4.5million as Leeds splash the cash on a new midfield maestro.
