Ian Harte was at the Championship game between Leeds United and Derby County at Elland Road on Friday evening.

Ian Harte is one of the greatest footballers in Leeds United’s recent history. The retired defender started his professional club football career at Elland Road and played for the club until 2004.

The 39-year-old former left-back was part of the Leeds team that were challenging for the Premier League title and playing in the Champions League.

The former Republic of Ireland international is still popular among the fans of the West Yorkshire outfit, and he was at the game at Elland Road.

Leeds took on Derby County at home in the Championship and won it 1-0, thanks to Chris Wood’s goal on the stroke of half time.

Before the match, Harte posted the following photo of him and new Leeds co-owner Andrea Radrizzani on Twitter.

Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are in the running for the playoffs.

Garry Monk’s side are playing well and with confidence, and there is a chance that they could even push for the two automatic places.

Perhaps Leeds would be playing in the Premier League during the 2017-18 season…
