Pablo Mari was among the Arsenal players in training on Wednesday afternoon.
The Gunners resume their Europa League campaign tonight with a visit of Rapid Vienna at the Emirates Stadium.
Mari is very much a forgotten man at Arsenal after only managing 24 minutes of Premier League football since March due to injury.
The Spanish centre-back picked up an injury early on in the North Londoners’ first game of Project Restart in June but, considering they later spent £14 million to sign him permanently, you could argue that the likes of Mikel Arteta and Edu believe in his quality.
And it’ll be interesting to see if Arteta includes the 27-year-old – who made his return for the reserves last week – in the squad for tonight’s clash.

Another Arsenal player spotted in Arteta’s session yesterday was Sead Kolasinac.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has been sidelined since early November after testing positive for the coronavirus.
He is somebody who definitely might have played tonight, given that Arteta tends to rotate heavily for Europa League games, but it remains to be seen if he’s fit enough to make his return after some three weeks on the sidelines.
