Celtic central defender Filip Benkovic has taken to Instagram to express his delight at winning the Scottish Premiership title this season.
The 21-year-old – signed on loan from Leicester City in the summer of 2018 immediately after he joined the Premier League club from Dinamo Zagreb for a transfer fee reported by The Sun to be worth £13 million – is pleased to have clinched his first league title with Scotland, and has posted the following picture on Instagram.
Celtic had already won the Scottish Premiership title this season, but it was today that the Hoops were handed the trophy.
The Celtic players celebrated in style following their 2-1 win against Heart of Midlothian at Celtic Park in the league on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, FC Midtjylland central defender Erik Sviatchenko has posted on Twitter a photo of him and his former Celtic teammate Stuart Armstrong, who is now at Southampton.
The 27-year-old midfielder flew to Denmark to watch his former Celtic teammate lift the Danish Cup this weekend.
