Liverpool and Everton stars were in relaxed mood as England took on Ecuador.
Before England went a goal down early on in Miami to Ecuador in their pre-World Cup friendly, their stars were in relaxed mood.
This was illustrated no more so than Everton centre-back Phil Jagielka, who took a selfie via his mobile phone in the opening stages.
Liverpool duo Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard also gave the camera a smile before the picture was promptly uploaded onto Twitter.
The grins on their faces, and Jagielka’s ‘decent start’ message quickly proved too casual however, with the Three Lions conceding an early goal.
The trio are unlikely to make a similar error during the World Cup proper when not only will there be complete focus, but they are all expected to start the matches, and won’t be twiddling their thumbs on the bench.
