Tottenham Hotspur rumours have been focusing on defenders of late, but Erik Lamela leaving could facilitate a new wide man arriving too.
Fans have been talking about the likes of Takehiro Tomiyasu and Cristian Romero, but Fabrizio Romano dropped a bomb on Twitter yesterday.
Romano reported that Tottenham had agreed a swap deal with Sevilla, which would see Lamela head to Spain alongside a cool £21.5million.
Heading to Tottenham is Sevilla winger Bryan Gil, a young Spaniard tipped for a huge future both domestically and with Spain.
Lamela’s time at Tottenham appears to be coming to an end very, very soon – but you wouldn’t have known it in training on Tuesday.
Lamela was spotted in training giving a thumbs up to the cameras, seemingly in great spirits as he prepares for the new season under Nuno Espirito Santo.

That looks to be one of Lamela’s final training sessions as a Tottenham player, as Romano now adds that the winger has already accepted Sevilla’s proposal.
From a thumbs up in training to a thumbs up to Sevilla in just a matter of hours.
The transfer market is truly moving now, and after almost eight years at Tottenham, Lamela is preparing for a new challenge.
