The American youth talent will join Mark Warburton’s Rangers side at Ibrox.

Rangers are said to be in the hunt for American talent Emerson Hyndman. It was reported by the Scottish Sun this morning that Rangers had agreed a deal to sign the USA under-20 international midfielder on loan from Bournemouth for the rest of the season.

It seemed a strong rumour and, pictorial evidence would now seem to suggest the deal is on the brink of completion.

This picture has confirmed that the midfielder is in Glasgow, as he prepares to complete his move to Rangers on loan until the end of the season:

Rangers boss Mark Warburton has been looking for new central midfield options throughout January.

The Glasgow side lost Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar, two experienced players signed in the summer, to a release of contract and injury respectively.

Hyndman has only recently made a move himself. He left Fulham for Bournemouth in the summer after his contract at Craven Cottage came to an end.

Warburton and the Ibrox faithful will be hoping that Hyndman can prove himself at Rangers and play a big role in the rest of the club’s season.
