Good news await Glasgow Rangers fans.
Eduardo Herrera and Carlos Pena – the Mexican duo – have boarded the flight to the UK, and are due to arrive on Wednesday.
According to reports from the Daily Record, the duo will be unveiled in the next 24 hours.
Herrera tweeted a picture of the duo boarding their flight to the UK in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Rangers have been very active in the summer transfer window, and the Mexican duo’s signings will take Pedro Caixinha’s summer recruitment drive to eight.
Herrera, 28, told ESPN Mexico last Tuesday night that his work permit has been granted ahead of his proposed move to Rangers.
He will arrive in a deal worth around £1 million, and have signed a three-year deal at Ibrox.
Both Herrera and Pena are available for the first leg of the first round of Europa League qualifying clash with Progres Niederkorn at Ibrox, next week.
