Arsenal star is working his way back to fitness.
Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is stepping up his recovery from injury.
Welbeck suffered a serious ankle injury for Arsenal in September in the Europa League against Sporting.
He has undergone two operations, with the second in November.
Now he has offered an encouraging update to fans via Twitter.
Welbeck posted an image of himself running at London Colney.
Welbeck is not expected to feature this season but his progress is encouraging.
The forward is out of contract at the end of the season and it’s unclear if Arsenal intend to offer him an extension.
If he can get back to full fitness by the summer it will help him, wherever is future lies.
