Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck scored the first hat-trick of his Arsenal career in only his fifth game for the club.
Welbeck scored three in the Champion League tie at home to Galatasaray, with Arsenal’s attack rampant.
The striker was a deadline day addition from Manchester United, a transfer which caused plenty of comment from ex and current players alike, who believed the Red Devils were wrong to let him go.
The 23-year-old was frequently played out of position at United, and leading Arsenal’s attack in Olivier Giroud’s absence he certainly looks the part.
