Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against St Johnstone on Sunday.

Celtic did not have any problem getting the better of St Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
True, the Glasgow giants were able to score the two goals in their 2-0 win late in the second half, but it could have been more for Brendan Rodgers’s side had Zander Clark not made saves after saves between the St. Johnstone goal.
The win means that Celtic remain at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 54 points from 24 matches, six points clear of second-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers.
Celtic fans, though, will not be entirely happy after the match, as their main forward Odsonne Edouard was injured and had to be substituted, as shown in the photos below and above.

The 21-year-old, who has replaced Leigh Griffiths as the first-choice striker for the Glasgow giants this season, came on as a substitute for Oliver Burke midway through the second half, but he was taken off on 74 minutes due to injury.
With big games coming up for Celtic in Scotland and in the Europa League, fans of the Glasgow giants will hope that the injury suffered by Edouard is not very serious.
