Scottish Premiership champions Celtic were beaten 2-0 by Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on Sunday.
No Celtic player covered themselves in much glory during Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Rangers.
But veteran Celtic right-back Mikael Lustig might be the exception – and yet it has nothing to do with his performance.
The Hoops star went down injured at one point and Rangers centre-back Connor Goldson looked to have said something to rile Lustig, whose response was brilliant.
Sitting on the Ibrox turf, the 32-year-old, who earns £24,000 per week at Parkhead [Daily Star], held up eight fingers at the Gers defender to remind him how many Scottish Premiership titles he has won in Glasgow.
Lustig helped Celtic to their eighth crown last week.
Goldson, who will endure a trophy-less first season in Glasgow, got the last laugh by winning the game, though he has a ways to go before he matches Lustig’s medal count in Scotland.
