Celtic star Jozo Simunovic has underwent knee surgery, Neil Lennon revealed.

It looks like Celtic’s Jozo Simunovic is in good spirits despite going under the knife.
Hoops boss Neil Lennon revealed on Tuesday that the big centre-back is set for even more time on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery.
Simunovic, who has missed Celtic’s last four games with the problem, is no stranger to injury issues.
But the defiant defender posted an ‘I’ll be back’ message from his hospital bed on Instagram.
Simunovic, a £3 million signing in 2015 [The Daily Mail], lost his way under former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, but he looks like a man reborn under Lennon.
Lennon took the reins at Parkhead for a second time in February and the former Dinamo Zagreb centre-back played a big role in helping the Bhoys to a third successive domestic treble last season.
Alongside Kristoffer Ajer, Simunovic was a rock but it looks like it’ll be a while before fans of the Scottish giants see that combination again.
