Marvin Compper is yet to make his debut for Celtic.

Celtic defender Marvin Compper has been pictured in training at Lennoxtown by the club’s official Twitter account as Brendan Rodgers’ side prepare to face Hearts on Tuesday night.
The 32-year-old defender joined the club from German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig at the start of the transfer window, but was ruled out from making his debut against Brechin City after suffering a calf injury in training.

It was expected to keep the German sidelined for three to four weeks, but he is already unavailable for Celtic’s Europa League Round of 32 ties against Zenit St. Petersburg after already representing Leipzig in the Champions League.
However, Compper has returned to action sooner than expected ahead of Tuesday’s Scottish Premiership clash against Hearts in what will come as a huge boost to Rodgers.
Celtic are currently amid somewhat of an injury crisis at Parkhead, with Craig Gordon, Anthony Ralston, Stuart Armstrong, Tom Rogic, Paddy Roberts, Jonny Hayes and Leigh Griffiths all sidelined.
However, the return of Compper will have been considered the most important with Celtic lacking in central defenders and he could now be a part of the Celtic squad that look to exact revenge on Craig Levein’s side.
