Glasgow Rangers look like having a busy transfer window bringing a number of new players to Ibrox.

It looks like Rangers fans will be celebrating the arrival of two new players in the next few hours, with Dalcio and Fabio Cardoso pictured in Glasgow ahead of their medicals.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha looks like being very busy in the next few months as he attempts to build a side capable of competing with recent treble winners Celtic, and he has seemingly identified centre-back Cardoso and wide man Dalcio as two vital cogs in his new-look side.

Fabio Cardoso

Dalcio is a 22-year-old winger who can also operate in the centre of the park. He is currently on the books at Benfica although he is more used to turning out for their B team.

Cardoso only signed for Vituria Setubal last summer, signing a four-year deal, but his countryman Caixinha has convinced him that his future is best served in Glasgow.

Rangers need additional quality at centre-back with veteran Clint Hill leaving the club this summer and Rob Kiernan disappointing more often than not.

The Gers also need more creativity from the centre of the park and Caixinha will be hoping Dalcio can offer that once he settles at Ibrox.

More new signings are expected to arrive at Rangers in due course, but for now they will be focused on ensuring their are no issues with the impending medicals.
