Leeds United have completed the signing of Bryce Hosannah, who will link up with their under-23 squad.

Leeds United have clinched a deal to sign defender Bryce Hosannah, after a successful trial.

Hosannah posted an image on Twitter last night displaying himself putting pen to paper on a deal.

HITC Sport reported last month how Hosannah had been on trial at Leeds, and earlier this week how he had hinted he had signed a deal by ‘liking’ a Tweet suggesting he had – and now the move is official.

Hosannah had been part of Crystal Palace’s academy for the last few years and played for their under-18 side last season.

Already the right-back has linked up with Leeds United’s under-23s, featuring in their 2-0 loss to Watford on Monday.

Hosannah’s signature is a further sign of Leeds pushing to strengthen their academy sides after a disappointing run of results in 2016/17.

Already this season Leeds have promoted 20-year-old centre-back Conor Shaughnessy to the first team, which will provide hope to their young talent that there is a pathway for them if they can impress for Carlos Corberan’s under-23s.
