Manchester United players Bebe and Andreas Pereira travelled to Ireland on Sunday for a reserve-team match.

Manchester United’s reserve-team squad travelled to Ireland on Sunday for a pre-season friendly against Bray Wanderers.

And while some of the players involved may have felt unlucky not to be included in the first-team’s tour of the USA, they will still be hoping to impress United boss Louis van Gaal from afar.

On the way to the game, winger-cum-forward Bebe posted a picture on his official Instagram account of him and young teammate Andreas Pereira.

The Portuguese player is unlikely to be at United for much longer, with ongoing reports suggesting a move to Benfica is in the pipeline. But the young Belgian-born attacking midfielder could have a huge future at Old Trafford if he lives up to his considerable potential.

The 18-year-old recently opted to play for Brazil rather than the country of his birth. But for now all his attention will be on making it at a club where the likes of Adnan Januzaj and James Wilson have recently proved that if you are good enough you are old enough.
