Jurgen Klopp put his Liverpool stars through their paces one last time before tonight’s visit of Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Liverpool host Zinedine Zidane’s side at Anfield in the second leg of a quarter-final in Europe’s elite competition.
The Reds are trailing 3-1 from the first leg but an away goal from Mohamed Salah in Madrid last week has given Klopp’s side – who won the tournament in 2019 – a bit of a lifeline.
Plenty of heavy hitters were spotted in the German’s final training session before the game on Tuesday, but there was also one blast from the past.
Ben Woodburn is very much a forgotten man of this Liverpool side and hasn’t made a competitive appearance for them in three years.
But the 21-year-old, who became the club’s youngest-ever goalscorer with a strike against Leeds back in 2016, was among those included in the session at the Axa Training Centre.

Woodburn won’t have a part to play against Real tonight and really, he may never play for Liverpool ever again.
The Athletic reported earlier this month that the Wales international is one of several players who Klopp and Michael Edwards could ship out of the club during the summer transfer window.
Woodburn, who has six Premier League games under his belt, spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Blackpool in League One but struggled to make his mark under Neil Critchley, whom he played under for the Reds’ Under-23 side.
