Aston Villa have scrapped a deal which saw their training ground renamed.

Aston Villa have taken down signs around their training ground which mentioned Recon.
Bodymoor Heath was renamed the Recon Training Ground during Tony Xia’s time in charge, after he sold the naming rights.
However, Villa’s new owners have scrapped that deal, and reverted the claret and blues’ base back to its original name.
Villa’s new owners, Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, are also said to be not even contemplating selling the naming rights to Villa Park in the future, by the Express and Star.
Villa are reportedly adamant that they are not in danger of coming into trouble due to Financial Fair Play, as they have not broken the current rules.

Villa are currently in 11th place in the Championship table, after winning three of their first five matches under the guidance of Dean Smith.
