A number of Arsenal youngsters were spotted in Mikel Arteta’s training session on Thursday.
Arsenal are away to Leicester City on Saturday and Arteta promoted quite a few stars of tomorrow at London Colney.
The likes of Tim Akinola, Zak Swanson and Anass Salah-Eddine all competed alongside the Gunners’ senior stars in the session yesterday.
But another man to get a promotion is exciting striker Mika Biereth.
Arsenal signed the big 18-year-old from Fulham in July but Biereth has seen his minutes limited to Under-23 football for now.
He netted 21 goals in as many games for the Cottagers’ Under-18 outfit last term, illustrating his promise.
Here’s a photo of the Edu signing alongside Thomas Partey in training on Thursday.

Hard work
Biereth might have an exciting future but succeeding at Arsenal will require so much hard work on his part.
Folarin Balogun is only a year older and is far closer to Arteta’s senior squad than he is – and even he isn’t even that close, evident by the fact Eddie Nketiah is playing ahead of him in cup games.
One thing that Arteta demands is industry and work ethic in training, which is probably the main reason why Nketiah has done so well under him during the past two years.
And if Biereth has to be able to match that, especially in rare occasions when he’s included in Arteta’s training.
