Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil is dreaming of beating Tottenham Hotspur, by practising playing against them on his PlayStation.
Ozil shared an image on Twitter of him playing PES, on a giant television screen at his home.
Tottenham (abbreviated on PES to NEL – North East London), managed to avoid defeat against Ozil’s Arsenal twice in the Premier League for real last season, inflicting defeat on the Gunners in their most recent clash.
2016/17 was the first season in Arsene Wenger’s time in charge at the club that Tottenham have finished above Arsenal.
Both Arsenal and Spurs recorded wins in their opening Premier League matches, beating Leicester City and Newcastle United.
The two teams do not play in the Premier League until November 19, when the Gunners host Spurs at The Emirates.
