Leeds United youngster Alex Wollerton has put pen to paper with Barnsley.
Alex Wollerton has become the third player to swap Leeds United for Barnsley this summer.
The talented under-23 prospect posted a photo last night showing that he has signed a deal at Oakwell.
Wollerton had been on trial at Barnsley earlier this year.
He follows Aapo Halme and Mallik Wilks, who Leeds sold earlier this month.
There have been a steady flow of departures from Leeds in recent days, most notably Pontus Jansson.
Wollerton, 19, was born in Barnsley and will now have a chance to kick on after his Leeds release.
The young midfielder was on loan at Darlington earlier in the season and had a trial at Hull City in January.
Leeds will have to hope Wollerton does not make them go on to regret letting him go.
