Tottenham Hotspur players of old were spotted in the club’s new stadium last night.

Ajax’s visit to North London in the semi-final of the Champions League was Tottenham Hotspur’s biggest game for some time.
And a number of former Spurs players couldn’t keep themselves away.
Colin Calderwood, who spent six years at White Hart Lane in the 90s, was in attendance, as was Rafael van der Vaart, one of Spurs’ most beloved stars over the last decade.
But there were also two more recent player’s in the club’s history.
Television footage showed Tom Carroll, sold by the Lilywhites in 2017, sitting next to the injured Harry Kane, while Crystal Palace star Andros Townsend sat in front of them.
All three came through the North London club’s academy together.
Donny van de Beek’s 15th-minute opener was enough to give Ajax a potentially precious away goal and see them put one foot in the final of the competition, though Tottenham will hold out hope of turning the tie around in Amsterdam next Wednesday.
