Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has been pictured meeting with new co-owner Andrea Radrizzani for the very first time since his investment was confirmed.
Radrizzani bought 50 per cent of Massimo Cellino’s shares in the club last week, but has been quiet since the announcement, no doubt working hard behind the scenes.
This picture, taken from Leeds United’s Snapchat account, shows Monk and Radrizzani deep in conversation.
What were they talking about? Potential transfer targets and budgets, current players and tactics, or perhaps a contract extension for Monk and his staff?
Whichever it may be, Monk will not allow the exciting developments to become a distraction for he or his players, with a crucial game coming up against Derby County this Friday at Elland Road.
Leeds are in fifth in the table, but the Rams are hoping to close the gap on them, currently sitting five points further behind.
