Leeds United owner helped secure a partnership with the San Francisco 49ers.

Leeds had been looking for further investment as they look to try and build a club capable of challenging for promotion this coming season.

New owner Andrea Radrizzani sold a small stake in the club to secure the 49ers partnership and he was thrilled with the agreement.
Radrizzani took over Leeds last year and the Italian media mogul may actually have laid the groundwork for this future tie-up two years earlier.
A picture from his Twitter feed in 2016 shows Radrizzani thanking the 49ers for their hospitality after visiting the Levi’s Stadium, which opened in 2014.
The previously established ties will have made this agreement easier to pull off, and will see for a stronger working relationship now they have a mutual interest.
Leeds now have a foothold in the American market and if they can win promotion, from a commercial opportunity Radrizzani could have tapped into a goldmine.
