Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny grabbed his chance to pose with football legend Diego Maradona.
Diego Maradona was a guest of Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend at Wembley as they beat Liverpool 4-1.
A day later he was posing with a star of another North London club, Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
Elneny posted his message on Twitter expressing his excitement at getting to meet the legendary Argentine.
Elneny was at the FIFA Awards in London, where Cristiano Ronaldo scooped the Ballon d’Or for a fifth time – equalling Lionel Messi’s tally.
A day earlier Maradona had been meeting Tottenham stars Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris et al, as he was given a special invite to their game courtesy of his compatriot, Spurs legend Ossie Ardiles.
Elneny missed an opportunity to provide Maradona with an Arsenal shirt of his own to take the place of the Tottenham one he received on Sunday…
