Leeds United have signed Adam Forshaw from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.

Leeds have signed Forshaw from Championship rivals Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.
As announced on Boro’s official website, the Whites had to pay a transfer fee of £4.5 million in order to secure the services of the 26-year-old midfielder.

Forshaw played with Northern Ireland international winger Dallas at Brentford, and with Republic of Ireland international midfielder O’Kane and 23-year-old Matthew Pennington at Everton’s youth academy.
The former Wigan Athletic midfielder has stated that Dallas, O’Kane and Pennington will help him settle in at Leeds.

“I’m close with Stuart Dallas, he’s been giving me a bit of stick already and I know Eunan O’Kane and Matthew Pennington from my Everton days, so hopefully they can help me settle in a little bit better,” Forshaw told Leeds’s official website.
Meanwhile, Forshaw and Dallas have been caught on camera all smiles after the former’s move to Leeds.
The two players know each from their time together at Brentford, and given Forshaw’s aforementioned’s comments, it seems that they are good friends.
