According to Twitter user, Newcastle United’s Achraf Lazaar was at the city’s airport today.
Achraf Lazaar has seemingly been spotted at Newcastle airport, headed for departures.
The Newcastle United defender has struggled for regular football under Rafael Benitez after joining from Palermo last summer, making just four appearances in the Championship.
But it seems as if the 25-year-old, who cost the Magpies £3 million, could be on his way as a Twitter user posted a photograph of the Moroccan at the airport today.

With the season already underway, he is unlikely to be jetting off for a holiday. In fact, Gazzatta Dello Sport in Italy reported this week that Genoa are keen on the left-back.
He is one of several Newcastle players, along with Tim Krul and Emmanuel Riviere, who Benitez is reportedly keen on getting rid of, with their presence hindering the process of bringing in new recruits.
Lazaar won’t be loved among fans of the St James’s Park, but he won’t be despised either. The truth is that he was never given much of a chance, possibly because he did little to earn it, and it seems like a move away is best for all parties involved.
