Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi has been photographed in training for Hertha Berlin, and he looks like he means business at the Bundesliga outfit.

The Frenchman – who Arsenal paid £8 million for in 2018 – joined Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan deal back at the start of October.

Guendouzi had not been included in a matchday squad this season by Mikel Arteta before he moved to Germany, and last appeared in a 2-1 loss to Brighton in June.

According to The Daily Star, the 21-year-old was forced to train alone after grabbing Brighton striker Neal Maupay by the throat in that aforementioned game, while also allegedly boasting about how much he earns.

Now, however, it looks like Guendouzi is determined to get himself back on track judging by a photo of him in training for Hertha Berlin.

We hope that the former Paris Saint-Germain academy prospect can relight his Arsenal career next season.

Guendouzi has regularly looked impressive for the Gunners, and made 33 Premier League appearances under Unai Emery last season while being a key squad member despite his young age.

Something presumably happened between him and Arteta after that defeat to Brighton.

Despite that, let’s hope that he can impress the Spaniard from afar while playing in Germany before resurrecting his career at the Emirates next year.
