On Thursday, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was photographed back in training for Liverpool, having been absent since July.
The former Arsenal man grabbed an assist in Liverpool’s final Premier League game of the 2019/20 season in a 3-1 win over Newcastle on July 26th.
However, since that win on Tyneside, Oxlade-Chamberlain hasn’t made an appearance under Jurgen Klopp having suffered an issue with his knee.
After eight games of the Premier League campaign, the 27-year-old looks to be nearing a return to action after being spotted polishing his technique in training.

Liverpool could definitely do with having their No.15 back in action.
Oxlade-Chamberlain – who cost £35 million – provides plenty of energy and drive to Klopp’s midfield when fit, and right now, the former Borussia Dortmund boss needs all hands on deck.
The Reds are suffering from a severe injury crisis which has robbed them of Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Thiago and Jordan Henderson at the time of writing.

Despite that, Liverpool are still third in the Premier League and sit just one point off the summit.
Hopefully, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s return to action can help the Reds maintain their form, and ensure that they do not lose momentum heading into a crucial part of the campaign.
