Sergio Reguilon has been spotted in the home end of Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday night, as he has posted on his Instagram story.
The 25-year-old joined Tottenham from Real Madrid for £32 million in 2019 (Sky Sports), so it seems like he was cheering on his former side in the capital.
At first, the Spain international posted an image of Stamford Bridge, as you can see below, with Madrid 2-1 up at the time, before he posted an image with his girlfriend at the ground.
There’s no doubt that some Chelsea fans would have raised an eyebrow when they would have seen him in their end, but the left-back would have enjoyed the show Madrid put on.
Karim Benzema, who is supposedly 34, is producing performances like a 25-year-old because he scored a quite stunning hat-trick during his side’s 3-1 win.
This was the first-leg of the quarter-final Champions League tie, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side will feel they should get the job done in the return leg.
