It isn’t confirmed yet but it certainly looks like Vakoun Issouf Bayo is leaving Celtic in some capacity.
Celtic are heavily linked with signing another striker, following speculation about the likes of Steven Fletcher and Ivan Toney.
And it seems like Bayo is set to be the player who gets sacrificed by Hoops boss Neil Lennon.
That’s because photos are circulating on Twitter of the Ivorian hitman wearing Toulouse colours and holding up a shirt belonging to the Ligue 2 club.
It remains to be seen whether it’s a permanent or a loan move.
Bayo cost Celtic a sizeable £2 million fee 18 months ago but it hasn’t been a successful time in Glasgow for the big man, who has managed only 17 appearances for the Parkhead club in all competitions.
It’s a bit of a worry too because he’s 23. Bayo still has a lot of years left before he hits his peak years but, by the same token, he has completed his education as far as development goes.
This is a player who turns 24 in six months and he probably isn’t going to get that much better, but it’ll be fascinating to see how he fares in France.
