Rob Holding looks a different player at Arsenal these days – literally.
The 26-year-old, a £2 million signing by Arsenal back in 2016, hasn’t featured prominently under Mikel Arteta this season.
So far, the former Bolton centre-back has only managed 436 minutes of football in all competitions – and only 180 of those came in the Premier League.
Some Gunners fans might not have seen enough of Holding to know but, honestly, the English powerhouse has undergone a remarkable transformation in 2021.
By the end of last season, Holding looked to be a young man experiencing hair loss.
But fast forward seven months and based on the photos of him at London Colney on Wednesday, the Arsenal defender has enjoyed a major turnaround in this regard.
There was evidence that Holding had work done on his head in the summer when he sported a shaved head in a pre-season friendly against Rangers.

The Arsene Wenger signing in North London was hardly bald.
But that result looked an inevitability and you have to say that when comparing the before and after photographs, it was money very well spent by Holding.
