The Argentina international – signed from Real Betis for £27.2 million – missed the opening day defeat to Everton with a hamstring injury, according to Spurs’ official website.
Lo Celso failed to play a part in any of Tottenham’s four pre-season friendlies but it now looks as if the influential midfielder has made a timely return.

In the Guardian in January, Harry Winks described his teammate as an “exciting player” and said the fans can be happy about the Argentine.
“It’s only going to bring the best out of everybody involved,” Winks said. “He’s an exciting player and a player the fans should be happy about. There’s a lot more to come from him in terms of what the fans can expect.”
Lo Celso made 28 Premier League appearances last term, where his dribbling skills and bravery made him a vital asset in helping Tottenham move up the pitch.
