Nuno Espirito Santo has kicked off his spell in charge of Tottenham Hotspur this week.

The former Wolves boss was unveiled as Jose Mourinho’s successor in North London toward the end of last month.

And this week, the Portuguese coach has been overseeing Spurs’ pre-season campaign.

It’s in the early stages, with the players having only returned this week, but there’s been a number of interesting faces spotted at Hotspur Way – including Cameron Carter-Vickers today.

The USA international hasn’t kicked a ball for Tottenham in a competitive game since 2017 and has had no fewer than six loans away from North London in that time.

But he was among the players at Hotspur Way today:

Any chance?

There’s no chance of Carter-Vickers staying at Tottenham next season, no.

The Lilywhites extended his contract by a year earlier in 2021 [Football London] but only to avoid losing him on a free this summer.

Chairman Daniel Levy and managing director Fabio Paratici will try and secure a permanent sale for the 23-year-old between now and the end of the window.

Failing that, he will almost certainly go out on loan again.
