Reported Arsenal target Sander Berge has been pictured with Martin Odegaard after the Premier League season finished.
Jeunes Footeux has claimed that Arsenal have made a bid for Berge already, as they look to sign the Sheffield United midfielder.
If that is to be the case, then Berge may well have been keen to hear all about the Gunners from Odegaard, as the pair seemingly went out for dinner together last night.
It is always very easy to read too much into these situations.
Berge and Odegaard are both Norwegian and are friends after playing together in the national team.
However, if Arsenal are interested in Berge, then his relationship with Odegaard could aid them in their chances of convincing him to join.
The Gunners are not thought to have a free run for the Sheffield United midfielder, who is attracting interest from other Premier League sides (Jeunes Footex).
Odegaard has only spoken positively about Arsenal publicly so far, so his reviews of the Gunners would surely have been positive, if asked.
Odegaard may also actually be back at Arsenal next term.
The Athletic suggest that he is Mikel Arteta’s very first choice to buy this summer, after thoroughly impressing on a loan spell from Real Madrid.
