Ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash between Celtic and Real Betis, Tobi Oluwayemi has been spotted training with the first-team.
Depending on how seriously Ange Postecoglou takes the dead rubber affair, the 18-year-old could be in line to make his Celtic debut.
What’s the story?
Well, Oluwayemi was seen in first-team training alongside another 18-year-old in Dane Murray, who has already made his first-team debut for Celtic.
The former Tottenham prodigy could be seen carrying a bag of water bottles as Postecoglou prepared his side to take on Real Betis.
You can see a photo of Oluwayemi and Murray below.
The promising glovesman signed a new contract running until 2024 in June, so Postecoglou clearly has high hopes for him.
Postecoglou also said on YouTube that the Englishman has “good qualities” and is rated highly by goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods.
Celtic should hand Tobi Oluwayemi his debut

Celtic would somewhat be throwing the teenager in at the deep end should he start against Real Betis tonight, but that’s all the more reason to play him.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are an excellent outfit, and currently sit third in La Liga ahead of Barcelona.
Oluwayemi would be tested, but surely that’s a good thing on a night where Postecoglou and many others will want to see what the youngster has in his locker.

Celtic are already going to finish third in Group G, so Postecoglou has nothing to lose.
If Oluwayemi isn’t handed an opportunity tonight, we’re not sure when he’ll get another chance to make his debut for the Bhoys.
