Yesterday, Mikel Arteta was seen at London Colney preparing his Arsenal players for Saturday’s clash against Liverpool.
Among the crowd, an unfamiliar face was spotted next to Gabriel Martinelli, one who Arteta has never used before.
It was Kido Taylor-Hart who was seen at London Colney, a player whose future at the Emirates Stadium was actually clouded in uncertainly until recently.
The 18-year-old’s contract expires in the summer, and there was little mention of a renewal until Football London‘s exclusive report on March 5th.
In that story, they claimed that Arsenal had made an offer to the teenager, amid interest from clubs in Germany, England, Belgium and the Netherlands.
You can see the photo of Taylor-Hart alongside Martinelli at London Colney below.

The winger has never made a first-team appearance for the Gunners.
However, he’s having an impressive season at Under-18 level.
In nine U18 Premier League outings this term, Taylor-Hart has scored six goals while also recording four assists.

You can see why Arsenal were so keen to offer him a new deal.
Hopefully, Taylor-Hart can follow the likes of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe into Arteta’s first-team thinking.
He certainly seems like he has the talent to handle himself in senior football.
