Well, Calum Chambers will certainly play for Arsenal before Christmas it seems.
Goal.com reported that the former Southampton defender might not be fit again until December following a serious knee injury.
Chambers lasted only 23 minutes of Mikel Arteta’s coronation as Arsenal boss after falling injured in the 2-1 defeat by Chelsea in December.
He was originally ruled out for nine months but that date was pushed well back by Goal.com.
With that being said, Chambers, a £16 million signing in 2014 [The Guardian], is already running outdoors, which is brilliant news.
Pictures emerged of the 25-year-old running at London Colney on Tuesday and it looks like he is well ahead of schedule, even going by the September return date.
Clearly he’s in no shape for football at the moment, but he’s back in light training and that’s a brilliant step forward.
