Nuno Tavares might have a big day for Arsenal against Newcastle United tomorrow.
Arsenal kick off the weekend’s Premier League action by hosting Eddie Howe’s side.
The Gunners go into the game fresh off a 4-0 trouncing at Liverpool last week, in which Tavares struggled big time.
It remains to be seen if Mikel Arteta will keep him in the first XI or rotate with Kieran Tierney.
But the Portuguese left-back was among the training photos at London Colney on Friday.
And one instance showed him being felled by Calum Chambers, a £16 million signing in 2014.

Another interesting sight at Colney was that of Jordi Osei-Tutu.
The right-back returned to Arsenal last month for rehab on a hamstring injury picked up on loan with Nottingham Forest, whom he joined in August.
And although Osei-Tutu – due back with the Championship club next month – wasn’t in Arteta’s full training, his presence at Colney was encouraging nonetheless.

Last week’s defeat by Liverpool ended Arsenal’s 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
And Arteta will hope that tomorrow proves the first in a lengthy series of winning games but, despite Newcastle being bottom, they cannot be discounted.
