Mikel Arteta could shuffle his Arsenal pack for the trip to Leicester City this afternoon.

This season is now all about winning the Europa League for the Gunners and Arteta might just elect to rest some of his best players for the visit to The King Power Stadium.

One player who might return to the first XI for the first time in a Premier League game since 2019 is Calum Chambers.

The former Southampton defender, a £16 million signing in 2014, spent virtually all of 2020 out injured after picking up a knee issue in one of Arteta’s earliest games as Arsenal’s head coach.

But the Spaniard said this week that he is now 100 percent recovered ‘completely ready‘ to play – and here’s a few photos of Chambers training on Saturday ahead of meeting Brendan Rodgers’s side.

The Premier League season is pretty much a write-off for the North Londoners, who are 11th in the table.

If they’re going to be in the Champions League next season, it’ll have to come via winning its sister competition and Arteta’s troops face Olympiacos in a last-16 tie next month.
