Yesterday, a familiar face was spotted carrying a bag of footballs at Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre, as the Reds prepared to face Brighton.
That man was Naby Keita, who appears to be nearing a return to action after being photographed out on the grass.
The £120,000-a-week midfield maestro hasn’t appeared for the Reds since playing 90 minutes in the 7-0 win over Crystal Palace on December 19th.
Sadly, Keita just can’t seem to stay fit.
The Guinea international has only started six Premier League games this season, while also managing to start one Champions League clash.
Jurgen Klopp isn’t to blame by any means, but he must find a way to help Keita stay fit – perhaps by altering his training methods.
You can see a photo of the 25-year-old carrying some footballs in training yesterday below.

Liverpool desperately need Keita back.
The Reds are crying out for some midfield creativity.
Since the aforementioned 7-0 win, Liverpool have failed to beat West Brom, Newcastle, Southampton, Burnley and Brighton.

Amazingly, Klopp’s men have only scored once in those five games, courtesy of Sadio Mane’s goal against the Baggies.
What Keita brings to the side is progressive, forward passing, and a tendency to carry the ball goal-wards and drive Liverpool up the pitch.
As things are now, the Reds are far too static.
