
Some Chelsea and Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kalvin Phillips at Stamford Bridge last night.
Phillips was in action for Leeds in their Premier League game against Chelsea in London on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League, and he played well against the Blues.
The England international showed his class in the opening minutes of the game when he provided a wonderful assist for Patrick Bamford’s goal.
Phillips had a wonderful first half, as he imposed himself in the middle of the park. Although Chelsea stepped up their game in the second period and eventually won 3-1, the Englishman maintained his high level.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 82%, took 72 touches, attempted one dribble, made three clearances, and put in one cross.
